Overlooking the ocean, C-NOTE is an intimate jazz club that offers world-class live music.  Boasting three stories, the colorful club has become an iconic piece of Luquillo.  Each floor at C-NOTE is dedicated to specific purpose and provides a little something for everyone. 

When you arrive at C-NOTE, you will find the following concepts throughout the building:

Bar: (1st floor) Tapas, wine, and cigar store run by award-winning chef Érika Suárez

Jazz Club: (2nd floor) Gritty and raw live music with Grammy award winning acts each weekend.

Rooftop Lounge & Bar: (3rd floor) Open-air cigar and cocktail lounge overlooking the Atlantic Ocean

All concepts throughout the C-NOTE provide the patron with an immersive and unforgettable experience at ‘the jazz capital of the Caribbean.’

THE TEAM


Erika Suárez

Is a Certified Executive Chef by the American Culinary Federation (ACF), the nation’s largest organization of professional chefs, graduate from the Art institute of Fort Lauderdale. Chef Erika has formed her career with over 15 years of experience working in the US as well as internationally. Suárez was the first female to ever be appointed the Executive Chef position at Norwegian Cruise Line, where she later moved up to the corporate level and managed eight to ten vessels and their entire culinary teams. In addition, Suárez became the appointed liaison between Norwegian Cruise Line and their Celebrity Chef program, where she lead and developed new restaurant concepts with some of Americas Iron Chefs such as Geoffrey Zakarian, Buddy Valastro, and Jose Garces.  

Additional experience in the hospitality industry includes roles as Executive Sous Chef at Miami Beach Resort & Spa and Banquet Chef at the Riverside Hotel in Fort Lauderdale. With her experience in high-end gastronomy, Chef Suárez was also a part of the Waldorf Astoria brand where she became the first ever female to be Executive Chef for their unique resort in Puerto Rico, the world-renowned El Conquistador Resort and Spa.

Suárez is the creative culinary talent behind the C-note where she will develop a tapas and snacks menu for guest to indulge while enjoying the live music at what is soon to become the Jazz Capital of the Caribbean.
